Aerobic exericses are those used to enhance the circulatory and respritory systems in the body. You literally exercise
the heart and diphragm muscles to increase their efficiency. Aerobic exercises are accomplished when exercising at 75% of
your maximum heart rate. You can do a calculated max-heart-rate by taking the number 220 and subtracting your age.
Muscle building exercises require a stressing and tearing down of the muscle and then giving the muscle a period of rest
so that it can rebuild stronger. Muscle building is a continuous process that must be repeated over and over.
Stretching exercises are needed to keep the elasticity of the muscle in tact. It ensures that the individual muscle fiber
don't bundle, become corded and decrease the range of motion.
In our TMJ Relief video, we offer suggestions that assist you in becoming better balanced in all levels of exercise and
activity.
