The Holistic Approach: One of the major considerations when you are considering living a holistic lifestyle is that to do so you must have BALANCE in all aspects of life. (Mental, Body, and Spiritual) In order to experience the joy and happiness that life has to offer, it is important that individuals develop and experience a healthy lifestyle. It is more difficult to experience happiness when we are under the weather, feeling sick, run down, achey, or just tired all of the time. Everyone must continue to attempt to have balance in their physical well-being, mental well-being, spiritual well-being, emotional well-being and in our financial well-being. Any unbalance or distortion in any of these areas can bring about dis-ease! In order to support the above balance, it is good to evaluate what is going on in our lives. A few questions are listed below to get you started.
*Are you getting enough REST? *Do you breathe efficiently or is your breath ragged and fast? *Do you hold the breath when you are nervous or upset?
*How much exercise do you get on any given day? *Does your diet consist of organic healthy foods or are you a fast food junkie? *Do you use supplements to assist your body's requirements for good proper nutrition? *Do you drink adequate amounts of good water daily? *Do you have daily contact with your Higher Power? *Do you allow yourself adequate quiet time each day?
